The SUP46 FemTech family meets Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne. Dr. Alleyne is one of the most-recognized women in aerospace engineering and one of the few women of colour to serve in senior technical management and leadership position at NASA.
We, the SUP46 FemTech team in cooperation with the US Embassy of Stockholm, will be running an event on the 26th of September where we will have the unique chance to interview the multi-awarded rocket engineer and space scientist of NASA, Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne.
Dr. Alleyne has dedicated her 25-year career to advancing the areas of aerospace and space technology development, specifically in the fields of human and robotic space flight, space vehicle systems engineering, integration and testing and space (microgravity) research.
In addition, Dr. Alleyne is a leading advocate for the education of girls and women in science. She founded The Brightest Stars Foundation in 2007, a non-governmental organization dedicated to educating, empowering and inspiring young women to be future leaders through the study of science, technology and engineering.
