Mindfulness can seem like a luxury to many of us… just one more thing to do on top of an already busy agenda. But it turns out that taking intentional pauses throughout the day really has the power to make some big changes in our lives.

Mindfulness has been scientifically proven to increase job satisfaction, psychological well-being and decrease stress in employees.

Studies have shown that it can help to:

-reduce cortisol levels (our stress hormone)

-lower blood pressure

-improve sleep

This week’s guest speaker is Kristina Lindgren, founder of Beyondfulness a “wellness by mindfulness” consultancy. She is a mindfulness teacher, leadership consultant, psychosynthesis therapist and wellness mindset counsellor and speaker.

Kristina works with individuals & workplaces helping them to drive the changes that matter most for them. Her professional and academic background supports and motivates her clients to find their inner resources to optimal health & performance.

For the past 20 years, Kristina has worked with companies like Skansen, Svenska Mäklarhuset AB, Lärarförsäkringar, Region Dalarna, both with leaders and teams, supporting with stress reduction & building resilience and a wellness mindset.

She is educated in Mindfulness-based interventions, MBSR at Center for Mindfulness, Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts, US and has a MSc in Environmental Engineering at Luleå University.
